If there's one thing that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for, its secrecy. Marvel Studios does everything it can to keep its films' contents under wraps, allowing for moments of surprise and joy in the theater. Unfortunately, some of the starring cast members can make this a difficult task, as interviews and social media activity can unwittingly ruin film's contents. While Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland are the MCU's worst offenders, Ant-Man and The Wasp actress Evangeline Lilly may have revealed a potential villain of the upcoming sequel. While encouraging her followers to vote in the primaries happening across the country, Lilly seems to indicate that Goliath will be the big villain of the second Ant-Man movie.

While there could be a David vs. Goliath reference happening here, it certainly does seem like Evangeline Lilly is talking about the two villains she'll be facing in the MCU. Ant-Man and The Wasp will presumably feature Goliath as a villain, before Hope eventually crosses over and helps battle Thanos in Avengers 4.
Evangeline Lilly's Instagram post is sure to turn a few heads, especially as we get closer to Ant-Man and The Wasp's highly anticipated release. From the trailers and first footage, it seems like the duo of pint-sized heroes would be mostly battling Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost throughout the course of the movie. But the conflict can't be that simple, so fans were expecting another villainous character to pop up, be it Michelle Pfeiffer's Janet Van Dyne or Laurence Fisburne's Bill Foster. Now the latter seems more likely.
Bill Foster pops up briefly in the trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp, and seems to be a potential ally for Scott and Hope on their journey. He and Scott compare "sizes," meaning how large they've managed to grow through the use of the franchise's signature tech. Not it appears that the upcoming sequel may pull a fast one, and bring Goliath to the silver screen for the first time. Project G.O.L.I.A.T.H. was already mentioned by name, so fans were hoping the character would appear sometime during the film's runtime. Now we just have to wait and see.

The Hilarious Way Ryan Reynolds Congratulated Avengers: Infinity War On Its Opening Weekend
Everybody's talking about Avengers: Ininfity War this weekend (with good reason; it's awesome) but Marvel's biggest movie yet might not have that many weeks on the top. Following right on its heels is Deadpool 2, a totally different kind of superhero movie with its own large amount of hype. They both may come from rival studios (for now) but that doesn't mean any of the actors have to be competitive. Case in point: Ryan Reynolds. The Deadpool star tweeted out congratulations for Ininfity War's big weekend and in Reynolds fashion, it was also pretty funny.
The rivalry between fans of superhero films from competing companies has been well established, but when it comes to the people actually making these movies, there doesn't seem to be any bad blood. In fact, people are often very encouraging to each other, never missing an opportunity to throw a quick congratulations for making a great movie. We have another example of that today with Ryan Reynolds congratulating Marvel Studios on Infinity War. Of course, Reynolds never misses a beat when it comes to having a fun, meta, Deadpool joke either.
As most people may know, Avengers: Infinity War is having a huge weekend right now, having the second biggest opening day ever and currently on track to passing Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the biggest debut weekend of all time. Marvel Studios is no doubt passing around the champagne right now, and Ryan Reynolds took a moment to share his own glass. On Twitter, Reynolds wrote, "From a guy who never knows when to quit, I'm glad you guys never did. Congrats." The tweet was accompanied by a picture of a letter from Tony Stark for Deadpool. Seems like Deadpool has been trying to get into the Avengers, and the answer is a strong "no" from Iron Man.
Deadpool may be getting rejection letters to join the Avengers, but this kind of does highlight the fact that this might not be the case forever. The Disney-Fox deal means that Deadpool and fellow X-Men characters could be making a trip to the MCU eventually. Of course, this is all years away and who even knows if Marvel will choose to keep Deadpool separate or include him in the fun. Either way, don't take no for an answer, Deadpool.

Finally out in theaters, Aquaman is getting plenty of praise for being a movie that's main mission is just to have fun. It doesn't care how cheesy or crazy it is. However, even the strongest defenders of Aquaman must still be puzzled by the inclusion of an original song by Pitbull that drops right in the middle of the movie. Director James Wan explained his reasoning for why he wanted to include the song.
Putting the song in the sequence where Aquaman and Mera walk out of the water in slow motion, I felt: For fuck's sake, let's have fun with it! It's something out of Fast and Furious. Pitbull was in there very early on. He was really excited to do something for the film. That sequence is very tongue-in-cheek, and we just wanted to have fun with it. And we wanted a cheeky song at that point of the movie. I just wasn't sure what song it was going to be.
"For fuck's sake, let's have fun with it" is the best summarization of Aquaman that I have yet to hear.
At one point during the film, Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Mera (Amber Heard) emerge from the ocean in slow motion, and then suddenly and inexplicably, Pitbull's "Ocean to Ocean" begins to play. It features Pitbull rapping about the plot of the movie, but the hook of the song is a cover of Toto's "Africa" featuring Rhea. Then, as quickly as it arrives, it disappears into the night.
It's a real thing that happens in this movie. While all of it feels pretty random (Why Pitbull? Why "Africa?"), the song was actually written for the movie before Pitbull signed on to record it. Director James Wan told Business Insider that he wanted to include a fun, cheeky song in the movie, but didn't immediately know that was going to be an "Africa" cover with Pitbull. If that's not the definition of tongue-in-cheek, then I don't know what is.

"Ocean to Ocean" is certainly in line with the tone of Aquaman. The film is getting a lot of attention for how much fun it is and the crazy visuals on display. Not every movie can have a Pitbull song AND a Kraken voiced by Julie Andrews.
